Detailed Work Showcase

1. "Virtual Table" Feature Design & High-Fidelity Prototyping

A virtual table is a tool that enables app creators to upload and manage larger sets of data for user profiles, allowing for greater customization and personalization of the app’s content and overall user experience. By leveraging virtual tables, app creators can dynamically adapt the app’s features and services based on the specific profile selected by each user, ensuring a more relevant and engaging experience.

1.1 User flows & wireframes discussions

During the prototyping stage, I identified and discussed potential usability issues, such as readability concerns with preview information in form checkbox selections. I also evaluated the usability of data operations (CRUD: create, read, update, delete) in alignment with heuristic evaluation guidelines. Additionally, I supplemented the design documentation by clearly defining appropriate usage scenarios for modals and toast notifications.

1.2 Interactive high-fidelity prototype

1.3 Product documentation extracts

I participated in the end-to-end design process of the new "Virtual Table" feature, from initial user flow conceptualization to high-fidelity prototyping, serving as the primary designer of the high-fidelity prototype. Additionally, I authored detailed product documentation clearly outlining design rationale, interaction specifics, and edge-case handling to effectively guide the engineering team during implementation.

2. Audit & Visual Optimization of Internal Account Page

My initial task involved visual refinement and detailed interface inspection of the internal account management page. Through meticulous design audits and iterative adjustments, I ensured the UI consistency and visual clarity, significantly improving readability and ease of navigation for internal users.

2.1 Competitive analysis and product design audit

During the design audit, I reviewed input hierarchy standards across multiple platforms' account pages. Based on this, I transitioned some direct form inputs into modal dialogs, effectively resolving issues such as unclear input requirements and difficulties with accurately adjusting responsive widths.

3. Internal Survey Results Page Redesign

The previous survey page had readability issues due to inadequate spacing between text and paragraphs, and inconsistent image cropping. After a design review, we've improved readability on both mobile and desktop result pages by adjusting text spacing and standardizing image cropping.

4. Usability test

I participated in several user testing sessions, recording user errors and identifying scenarios that resulted in inefficient interactions or delays. Based on these observations, I provided insights and recommendations to inform subsequent design optimizations.
